Why Choose
Our Curriculum?

Education is a powerful tool for empowerment, particularly for vulnerable groups at high risk of sexual and relationship violence. Our curriculum covers a wide range of critical topics from anatomy and relationships to consent, personal safety, STI prevention, and body autonomy. By incorporating community feedback through regular focus groups, we ensure our content is relevant and supportive, driven by the principle of "Nothing for us, without us."

Our Trauma-Informed Approach

We understand the intersecting identities and vulnerabilities of our learners. Our curriculum is designed to be trauma-informed, creating a safe and supportive educational environment that respects and addresses these complex needs.

Every person has the right to exercise choices regarding

sexual expression and social relationships.

The presence of IDD, regardless of severity, does not,

in itself, justify loss of rights related to sexuality.

- Joint Position Statement of AAIDD and The Arc, 2009
